Job Summary   Â
The Daily Catch Restaurant is seeking a friendly and outgoing host/hostess to join our team. As a host/hostess, you will be responsible for greeting customers, managing the seating arrangements, and ensuring that all guests have a positive dining experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, assisting with food and beverage service, and handling customer inquiries.Â

Responsibilities   Â
- Greet customers as they arrive and seat them at their tablesÂ
- Manage the waitlist and reservations, calling to confirm reservationsÂ
- Provide customers with menus and answer any questions they may haveÂ
- Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, including the reception area and dining roomÂ
- Ensure that tables are cleared and cleaned promptlyÂ
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism Â
- Work closely with the kitchen and servers to ensure that guests receive prompt serviceÂ
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking suppliesÂ
- Provide excellent customer service at all timesÂ

Qualifications and ExperienceÂ
- Preferred: 1-year previous experience as a host in a high-volume restaurant/bar Â
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills  Â
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once    Â
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds   Â
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysÂ
