JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the overall guest experience as it relates to time spent greeting guests to the restaurant in a pleasant and efficient manner. By supporting our company's Noble Purpose, your top priority will be to care about our guests, and the impact we make on their lives .
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet and seat guests, present menus to guests.
- Treat all guests in a manner that ensures their complete satisfaction.
- Always strive to exceed our guest's expectations.
- Manage Open Table.
- Run the floor plan board.
- Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
- Deliver water and bread and butter to tables upon seating
- Clean, organize and stock menus at host area.
- Answer phone and answer questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
- Interact with guests in the restaurant and as they leave to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Fill to go orders, if applicable.
- Maintain restrooms throughout shift.
- Sweep front entrance area frequently.
- Other duties as directed.
Requirements
- General knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- OpenTable Knowledge
- Previous experience preferred
