801 Fish St. Louis is hiring for a Host!
This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) front of the house (FOH) position working in a team-oriented, high-volume / fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest quality food & drink.
Requirements & Expectations:
- Minimum of 2 years host experience in a fast-paced, high-end / fine dining establishment.
- Availability to work any day of the week, including evenings, weekends & some holidays.
- Knowledge of, and ability to work within, OpenTable and other computer systems.
- The ideal candidate is a high-energy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys interacting with the public while maintaining a strong sense of hospitality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, to multi-task, and to maintain focus/memory of information received.
- Ability to communicate clearly (in person or via telephone) while demonstrating warmth & professionalism to guests in a busy, fast-paced / high-stress environment.
- Ability to maintain regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time
- Physical ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb and twist
