About the Role:
Ricci Italian Restaurant in Frederick, MD is looking for a warm, welcoming Host to be the first face our guests see when they walk through the door. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant's seating system
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus
• Monitor dining room flow and communicate wait times accurately
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries
• Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table turnover
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area

Requirements:

• Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a busy restaurant environment
• Professional appearance and positive, guest-first attitude
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic computer or reservation software skills a plus
