Host/Greeter Job Description:

Host/Greeter responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining & bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You should also be available to work in shifts. Ultimately, you’ll ensure we provide excellent customer service & a pleasant dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities of a Host/Greeter:

  • Manage reservations via walk-ins & telephone conversations
  • Welcome guests to the restaurant
  • Provide accurate wait times & monitor waiting lists
  • Escort customers to assigned dining or bar area
  • Provide menus & announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
  • Greet customers upon their departure

Host/Greeter Requirements:

  • Understanding of restaurant etiquette
  • Familiarity with health & safety regulations
  • Experience in managing reservations
  • Demonstrable customer-service skills
  • Excellent communication skills via phone & in-person
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
  • Availability to work in shifts as needed
  • Good physical condition to walk & stand during an entire shift
  • Must have Texas Food Handler's Certificate from http://www.certifiedonthefly.com.
  • Background check will be performed on all applicants.

Pablo's Mexican Kitchen is a Chef driven, full-service Mexican Restaurant located in Richmond, TX. All recipes are made fresh in-house daily. We use a very natural way of cooking, roasting vegetables & blending them together to create unique & interesting sauces. Most of our food is Gluten-Free because of our natural cooking process.
