As the first point of contact, the Host/Hostess sets the tone for exceptional service and hospitality. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, managing reservation and wait lists, answering phones, and assisting with light service and housekeeping tasks to ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the dining area. This position requires strong communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Warmly welcome all guests with a genuine smile and professional demeanor; escort them to their assigned tables and present menus.
- Manage the flow of guests in the dining and bar areas, utilizing reservation and waitlist software.
- Communicate accurate wait times and accommodate seating preferences when possible.
- Inform guests of daily specials and introduce their server to ensure a smooth transition.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and take to-go orders when needed.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of entryways, menus, and restrooms throughout service.
- Refill beverages and assist with clearing and resetting tables to support service staff.
- Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest needs and special requests.
- Collaborate with the service team to deliver a seamless, high-quality dining experience.

- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Familiarity with fine dining or high-end hospitality environments preferred.
- Previous experience as a host or in a customer service role is a plus.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to commit to working 3–4 shifts per week.
