Host/Hostess

Since 1987, Chris’ Pancake & Dining has been a St. Louis favorite, known for our hearty breakfasts, classic comfort food, and welcoming atmosphere. We believe that great hospitality starts the moment a guest walks in the door. As a host or hostess, you’ll be the friendly first impression and the warm goodbye that makes guests want to return again and again.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome

• Manage seating and reservations to keep service flowing smoothly

• Provide accurate wait times and communicate with guests while they wait

• Escort guests to their tables and present menus

• Answer phones and assist with takeout orders as needed

• Keep the host stand and entrance area clean and organized

• Support the team by assisting servers and bussers during busy times

What We’re Looking For:

• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment

• Weekend and holiday availability is a plus

• No experience required – we’ll train the right person

• Able to stand for extended periods and move quickly when needed
