About the Role:
3023 MP LLC is looking for a friendly and energetic Host/Hostess to be the first face guests see when they walk through our doors in Montclair, NJ! This is your chance to set the tone for an exceptional dining experience and be a key part of a dynamic front-of-house team.



Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a professional manner
• Monitor dining room flow and communicate wait times accurately to guests
• Answer incoming calls, take reservations, and respond to general inquiries
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth table turnover
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area

Requirements:

• Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and upbeat in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
• Professional appearance and a positive, guest-first attitude
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
