Host/Hostess (Part-Time)

Eggs Up Grill is hiring immediately for a part time Hosts/Hostess to join our team! Eggs Up Grill serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily from 6am to 2pm. Shift times will vary during the weekdays but on the weekends -Saturday & Sunday from 8am to 2pm depending on the volume of guests that day. A Host/Hostess is the first person the guest sees and the last: you are the face of the restaurant! Serious applicants only! Job Details: Welcome guests warmly by opening the door, smiling and making eye contact as they enter the restaurantSeat guests, handing the appropriate menu(s) to each guest after they're seated.Communicate with servers and managers regarding availability of tables, seating of large parties, or special requests so that guests receive great service.Handle guests' complaints by listening to their concerns, always informing a manager, and resolving issues to ensure overall guest satisfaction.Phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills are a must. Be able to answer phones to take orders and guest requests.Entering electronic orders for guests that phone in or walk-inPrepare to-go orders for completion including third party, online, and phone orders ordersMust be 18 years or olderPrior hosting experience is preferred, but not required.Rate of pay is negotiable and depends on skillset and level of experience.
