You welcome and warmly greet our guests with a smile upon arrival and thank them as they leave. Discounted shift meal.Medical, Dental, Vision and other benefits after 6 months for those who qualify.Continued training so you can grow your career wherever it may lead.We also like to promote from within!Qualifications: Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.A warm, friendly, engaging personality.Must be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time.Duties & Responsibilities: Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.Upon seating, engage guest in conversation offer guests a menu suggestion, inform guest of daily, weekly, monthly "message" and inform them of their server's name. Pull chair out for guests.Greet guests when within 5 feet.When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant.Call out name and number of party when tables become available.Provide guests with estimated waiting time.Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.Seat guests based on balancing of guest flow in restaurant.Relay messages to servers and server assistants as needed.Answer phones and take reservations.Assist in bussing tables if needed.Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return with a specific reason to come on back.
