Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
- Manage guest seating and table rotations efficiently
- Maintain accurate wait times and communicate them effectively
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with inquiries
- Assist with online and takeout orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
- Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth guest flow
- Help manage reservations and large parties
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them back
- Assist with light side work and dining room support as needed
- Promote current specials, loyalty programs, and restaurant events
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable using POS systems, waitlist software, and tablets
