Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. The Host plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing guest flow and supporting smooth front-of-house operations. This is a temporary position with up to 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, friendly, and immediate greetings to guests upon arrival
- Seat guests and present clean menus in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
- Manage waitlists and accurately quote wait times when necessary
- Coordinate seating to ensure efficient table turnover and balanced server sections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
- Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries
- Assist with maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment
- Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure excellent service
- Follow all company policies and guest service standards
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
