About the Role:
Red Robin in Portland, OR is looking for a friendly and energetic Host to be the first face our guests see! As the first point of contact, you'll set the tone for an amazing dining experience and help keep our restaurant running smoothly. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival to create a positive first impression
• Manage waitlists and reservations using the restaurant's seating management system
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a timely manner
• Monitor dining room flow and communicate wait times accurately to guests
• Coordinate with servers and floor staff to ensure efficient table turnover
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries about the restaurant
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and front-of-house entrance area

Requirements:

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods during shifts
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Previous host, front-of-house, or customer-facing experience is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
