Host - Restaurant

Job Summary:The Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is a high-volume restaurant, seeking experienced and team-oriented candidates for the Full-Time Host position.We are looking for outgoing, energetic individuals to greet and seat our guests here at the restaurant. We offer a flexible schedule with daytime/nighttime hours and weekend hours. An ideal candidate will be a team player willing to work a flexible schedule. But above all make sure the guest enjoys their time at the Lambertville Station Restaurant!

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests to the venueProvide accurate wait times and monitor waiting listsManage reservationsEscort customers to assigned dining or bar areasMaintain a clean reception areaCoordinate with wait staff about available seating optionsGreet customers upon their departureProvide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress's nameCater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly)Answer incoming calls and address customers' queriesAssist wait staff as needed

Requirements:

High degree of service orientation, positive attitude and ability to multitask.Able to work independently as well as work as part of a team.Candidate must be dependable and reliable.Outstanding people skills.Ability to work under pressure and high-paced work environment.Strong verbal and written skills.
