SCOPE AND PURPOSE:

Work effectively in greeting and coordinating guest’s arrival and seating in Food and Beverage outlets according to all El Encanto Standards.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Highest standard of ensuring a positive guest experience and an organized service flow.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operation and offerings.
  • Assist in ensuring proper table settings, monitor general cleanliness of the guest areas ensuring aisles and walkways are kept clear.
  • Knowledge of hotel history and statistics, and all daily meeting/events and location.
  • Know all in-house VIP guests, daily specials, and wines by the glass
  • Follow schedule, sidework and station assignments.
  • Thorough menu knowledge
  • Follow complete SOP details
  • Points of service details:
  • Take reservations
  • Greet guests
  • Seat guests
  • Respond to guest requests
  • Participate in shift staff roll call briefing.
  • Completes assigned side work; Opening/running/closing
  • Use utilities and resources in a responsible manner to control wastage.
  • Communicate relevant information to the department, your line manager and across departments, as appropriate.
  • Comply with safe working practices, Health and Safety policy and ensure accidents/defects are reported immediately.
  • Attend learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules, as required.
