Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Seating: Welcoming guests immediately upon arrival, providing menus, and escorting them to tables.
  • Reservation & Table Management: Managing bookings, answering phone calls, and optimizing table rotation to balance staff workloads.
  • Waitlist Management:
     Providing accurate wait time estimates to guests during busy periods.
    • Customer Service: Addressing guest queries, accommodating special requests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
    • Support Roles: Assisting service staff by cleaning/setting tables, stocking, and answering phones.
    • Safety & Logistics: Adhering to safety/sanitation policies and sometimes handling takeout orders. 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and staff.
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage high-stress situations, such as, "getting the servers in the weeds" during a rush,
  • Organization: Strong attention to detail, particularly for seating charts and reservation books.
  • Availability: Frequently requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with POS systems or reservation software is preferred
