What You’ll Do
- Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence, and professionalism
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating with accuracy and efficiency
- Use reservation and seating systems to keep the dining room organized
- Answer phones and assist guests with questions and requests
- Coordinate with servers and management to maintain smooth table flow
- Keep guests informed and comfortable during busy periods
- Monitor the dining room and anticipate guest and team needs
- Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming host stand
- Handle busy periods calmly while maintaining exceptional service
- Create a first impression guests remember
Who We’re Looking For
- Friendly, outgoing, polished, and professional demeanor
- Strong computer skills and comfortable learning restaurant software
- Experience with OpenTable is a definite plus
- Organized and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Clear and confident communicator with guests and coworkers
- Detail-oriented and quick to notice what needs attention
- Calm, gracious, and professional under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and serious about their schedule
- Team-oriented and works well with professional staff
- Previous restaurant, hosting, or hospitality experience preferred
- Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
