Hostess / Front Desk Agent


Hotel Everett & Carlisles | Winnsboro, SC


Hotel Everett and Carlisles Restaurant & Lounge are seeking a polished and personable Hostess / Front Desk Agent to serve as the face of our property during evening hours. This is a unique hybrid role combining guest services, restaurant hosting, and operational support in a refined boutique hotel setting.


Schedule


Friday – Tuesday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM


Position Overview


This role is responsible for creating an exceptional first impression for both hotel and restaurant guests. You will manage front desk operations, coordinate restaurant seating, and provide hands-on support to the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and thrives in a guest-facing environment with high standards.


Key Responsibilities


Front Desk & Guest Experience


  •  Greet and check in hotel guests with warmth and professionalism 
  •  Manage reservations, calls, and guest inquiries 
  •  Provide concierge-style assistance and local recommendations 
  •  Ensure a seamless and elevated arrival and departure experience 
Restaurant Hosting (Carlisles)


  •  Welcome and seat guests for dinner service 
  •  Manage reservations, pacing, and waitlists 
  •  Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff 
  •  Maintain flow and atmosphere of the dining room 
Administrative & Operational Support


  •  Assist the General Manager with daily operational needs 
  •  Support coordination of events, reservations, and guest requests 
  •  Help maintain organization of front desk systems and reporting 
  •  Uphold brand standards across both hotel and restaurant operations 
Qualifications


  •  Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or hosting preferred 
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  •  Professional appearance and demeanor 
  •  Highly organized with strong attention to detail 
  •  Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  •  Comfortable taking initiative and supporting leadership
