Host or hostess - Healthcare Relationship & Events CoordinatorWe are looking for an exceptionally outgoing, energetic and socially confident person to join our healthcare outreach team.
No pharmaceutical sales experience is required.
In fact, we are especially interested in people coming from hospitality, restaurants, hotels, luxury retail, events, nightlife, concierge services, brand ambassador work or other highly social environments.
What You’ll Do
* Visit physician offices throughout Los Angeles
* Build genuine relationships with doctors and their office staff
* Introduce our healthcare services and programs
* Coordinate lunches, dinners, sporting events and other professional networking events
* Invite physicians and office managers to upcoming events
* Follow up with offices and maintain relationships
* Help create a fun, memorable experience for our healthcare partners
* Keep track of visits and follow-ups in our CRM/Google Sheets
* Spend a significant portion of the workday out in the field meeting people
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is
* Extremely outgoing and comfortable approaching new people
* Friendly, personable and naturally good at building relationships
* Polished and professional in appearance and communication
* High-energy and comfortable being on the road throughout the day
* Persistent — you’re comfortable visiting an office again even if the doctor is busy the first time
* Organized enough to maintain relationships with many different offices
* Comfortable attending and hosting social and networking events
* Reliable and self-motivated
* Comfortable using Google Sheets and basic technology
Requirements
* Valid driver’s license
* Reliable transportation
* Comfortable driving throughout the Los Angeles area
* Strong communication and people skills
* Professional demeanor
* Ability to work independently
Experience:
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience is NOT required.
- Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, event, luxury retail, concierge, promotional, brand ambassador and customer-facing experience are highly encouraged
Compensation
Competitive hourly/base compensation with opportunities for additional performance-based compensation tied to outreach activity, relationship management and event execution.
This is not a traditional pharmaceutical sales position.
