About the Role:
Mykos Restaurant LLC in Northvale, NJ is looking for a warm and welcoming Hostess to be the first face our guests see when they walk through the door. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor upon arrival
• Manage reservations and walk-in seating using a waitlist or reservation system
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a timely manner
• Monitor dining room flow and communicate wait times accurately to guests
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries
• Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table turnover
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area

Requirements:

• Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house restaurant experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the dining room
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
