THE JOB:

Be part of an exciting new chapter at Eight75, Beau Rivage Resort & Casino's newly reimagined bar & lounge, reopening in early August 2026. As a Hostperson, you will be the first impression of this vibrant, social destination—welcoming guests with warmth, energy, and exceptional hospitality. From managing reservations and seating to creating a seamless arrival experience, you will help set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Whether guests are gathering for handcrafted cocktails, live entertainment, or a night out with friends, you'll play a key role in delivering the elevated service and lively atmosphere that make Eight75 the place to be.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.51 an hour + tips

THE SCHEDULE:

• Full Time | Swing Shift

• Off: Tuesday & Wednesday

• Monday & Thursday: 4:00pm - 12:00am or 5:00pm - 1:00am

• Friday & Saturday: 7:00pm - 1:00am

• Sunday: 4:00pm - 12:00am or 5:00pm - 1:00am

• Must be open and flexible to work outside of the primary schedule, including weekends and holidays based on the business needs

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional greeting as they arrive

• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments to ensure a smooth guest experience

• Answer incoming calls and accurately maintain reservation records using the reservation system

• Coordinate special requests, celebrations, and VIP accommodations while communicating details to leadership

• Maintain knowledge of daily reservations, lounge capacity, seating layouts, hours of operation, and special events

• Communicate guest needs and table status with Servers, Food Runners, Bartenders, and management

• Engage with guests waiting to be seated, providing updates and ensuring they feel welcomed throughout their wait

• Keep menus current, clean, and presentation-ready

• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entrance area

• Support the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service throughout the lounge

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Communicates professionally with guests and team members to ensure a seamless experience

• Stays organized while coordinating reservations, waitlists, and seating flow

• Brings previous resort or hospitality experience preferred

• Maintains flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
