TBest Services Inc. is seeking a professional and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Associate for our hospitality client in the Belcamp / Bel Air, MD area.
The Hotel Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing a positive guest experience from arrival to departure. This role handles guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, phone calls, payments, guest requests, and communication with housekeeping and management. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
- Check guests in and out according to hotel procedures.
- Verify guest reservations, identification, payment information, and room details.
- Assign rooms, issue room keys, and provide hotel information to guests.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, room changes, and guest service requests.
- Process payments, deposits, receipts, and other front desk transactions.
- Maintain accurate guest records, shift notes, and front desk reports.
- Communicate with housekeeping regarding room status, arrivals, departures, stayovers, and special requests.
- Monitor lobby and front desk areas to ensure they remain clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist with basic guest service needs, including directions, local information, hotel amenities, and general support.
- Report maintenance issues, guest complaints, safety concerns, or unusual incidents to management.
- Follow hotel policies for guest privacy, cash handling, safety, and customer service.
- Support other hotel departments as needed to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, customer service, retail, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong communication and professional phone skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel reservation systems.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
- Strong attention to detail when handling reservations, payments, and guest information.
- Professional appearance and positive guest service attitude.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and flexible shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk experience.
- Experience with hotel reservation systems is a plus.
- Cash handling or payment processing experience.
- Ability to resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
