Overview
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented professional to join our team and create a welcoming experience for every guest. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing attentive service, handling front desk operations, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and committed to delivering excellent guest service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression upon arrival and departure.
- Check guests in and out efficiently while verifying reservation details and room assignments.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with reservations or changes as needed.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, policies, and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and care.
- Process payments, maintain accurate records, and balance the cash drawer or front desk account when required.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to support guest satisfaction.
- Monitor lobby activity and follow hotel procedures to help maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and complete shift logs, reports, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain professional, courteous, and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using reservation or property management systems.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine front desk duties.
