Hotel General Manager

Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to lead our Fairfield Inn & Suites in Sulphur, Louisiana. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving performance, building strong teams, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the hotel, including operations, financial results, guest satisfaction, team development, and brand compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily hotel operations across all departmentsDrive revenue growth and maximize profitabilityManage budgets, forecasting, and financial performanceEnsure compliance with brand standards and company policiesLead and develop department heads and team membersMaintain high guest satisfaction scores and online reputationOversee sales efforts and local market positioningEnsure property maintenance and capital projects are executed effectivelyFoster a positive, accountable, and service-focused cultureQualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of hotel management experience (General Manager or Assistant GM preferred)Experience with select-service hotels strongly preferredBrand experience with Marriott properties is a plusProven track record of improving revenue, controlling expenses, and driving profitabilityStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to analyze financial reports and make strategic decisionsPassion for guest service and team developmentEEOC EmployerBackground check will be completed on all applicants
