Hotel Housekeeper

• Position: Housekeeping- Full Time
• Start time: 8am to ?- depending on when rooms are completed.
• Starting Pay: $16.00 to $18.00/ hour, based on experience
• Holidays and Weekends Required.

Red Roof Plus Columbus OSU is looking for dependable, detail-oriented housekeepers to join our team. This is a full-time position for someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms.

Previous hotel housekeeping or customer service experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to consider dependable candidates who have a strong work ethic and are ready to learn.

Bilingual English and Spanish skills are helpful but not required.

What does a day as one of our Housekeepers look like?

As a housekeeper, you will help make sure our guests have a clean, safe, and comfortable stay. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome guests and assist with housekeeping-related requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and designated public areas in accordance with company and brand standards.
• Change bed linens and make beds.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Ensure every assigned room is clean, maintained, and guest ready.
• Respond to housekeeping-related guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Communicate room concerns, maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items promptly to the Front Desk.
• Maintain a professional appearance while following company dress code and grooming standards.
• Work closely with the Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to ensure rooms are prepared on time.
• Follow all company safety, cleanliness, and service standards.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
