JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary facilities for the safety and security of our guests and associates.

1. Responsible for clear and effective communication between hotel housekeeping and other departments.
2. Maintain proper staffing.
3. Order supplies as assigned by Hotel Manager.
4. Report all work orders to maintenance.
5. Create a courteous, friendly, and professional work environment.
6. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
7. Inspect and maintain hotel rooms daily.
8. Execute a deep cleaning program.
9. Develop a monthly planner, with a project-a-day. (i.e. floor/carpet care, flipping mattresses, etc.)
10. Assist Hotel Manager in maintaining a monthly linen inventory.
11. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
12. Utilize proper equipment and supplies for the efficient and economical operation of the hotel.
13. Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house work areas meet the established standards of cleanliness.
14. Supervise, train, support, and monitor housekeeping staff.
15. Attends meetings and training as requested.
16. Read, understand and adhere to the Winnebago Gaming Compact and Winnebago Tribal Gaming Code, Rules and Regulations
17. Perform all other job related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSMinimum Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Two years housekeeping experience required and prior supervisory experience preferred.
Must have general knowledge of computers.
No theft or stealing convictions.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, as well as obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee occasionally is required to sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in the Resort hotel(s) area with exposure to heat, cold, and Casino setting with exposure to secondhand smoke and a high noise level.
Evening, graveyard, holiday and/or weekend work are required.
Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
AUTHORITY AND SUPERVISORY CAPACITY
Possesses authority needed to accomplish 1-17 above.
