Job Description

Clean guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards.
Wash walls and ceilings; move furniture and turn mattresses as needed.
Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
Dust and polish fixtures, furniture, and metal surfaces.
Collect and transport soiled linens to designated laundry areas.
Receive and distribute clean linen supplies from laundry chutes or storage areas.
Maintain and organize housekeeping carts and storage areas.
Remove trash and debris collected by room attendants and from public spaces.
Conduct floor checks at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
Deliver guest-requested items such as towels, cribs, cots, and amenities promptly.
Perform room attendant duties when necessary to support operations.
Assist with heavy lifting and deep cleaning projects, including seasonal/spring cleaning.
Clean pool areas and service areas following established procedures.
Follow all departmental standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Respond to guests and team members in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Report to work in proper uniform in accordance with hotel dress code policy.
Work independently while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members; support team goals.
Safely lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
