Immediate Opening: Dual-Property Maintenance Technician (Bloomfield & Farmington)


We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team immediately. This is a dual-property position, with hours split between our Bloomfield and Farmington hotel locations. This role is essential to maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of both properties.


The ideal candidate is dedicated, reliable, goal-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to effectively manage responsibilities across multiple locations. Candidates should be well-rounded in preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout all areas of the hotel, including exterior spaces.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs throughout both properties
  • Maintain and repair heating and cooling (HVAC) systems
  • Address plumbing and minor electrical issues
  • Repair walls, floors, carpets, and furniture
  • Repaint walls and complete cosmetic repairs as needed
  • Replace light bulbs, including exterior and parking lot lighting
  • Repair leaks, faucets, and other fixtures
  • Perform general cleaning and upkeep inside and outside the buildings
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues; participate in on-call duties as required
  • Travel between Bloomfield and Farmington properties as scheduled
Physical & Technical Requirements:


  • Proficient in using a variety of tools and maintenance equipment
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
  • Ability to remain active and move throughout both properties for extended periods
Qualifications:


  • CPO® Certification required
  • Prior hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred (training available)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time between two locations
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to work independently
