Hotel Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented professional to join our team and help ensure our property remains safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and staff. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance, respond to repair requests, and support the overall upkeep of the building, equipment, and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on guest rooms, common areas, and building systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Inspect plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical equipment for proper operation
• Assist with minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repair work
• Help maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of interior and exterior property areas
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption to guests and operations
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and outstanding issues
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with property standards and regulations

Qualifications

• Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, hospitality, or a related field preferred
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, climb, and perform tasks in varied conditions

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hotel or hospitality maintenance
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and work order systems
• Knowledge of safety practices, OSHA guidelines, and emergency procedures
• Certification or training in a skilled trade area
