A typical day for you might involve responding to maintenance requests from guests and staff, performing routine inspections and repairs, and ensuring that the facility is always in top condition. You'll be working with a wide variety of equipment and tools, performing tasks ranging from minor plumbing and electrical repairs to painting and carpentry work. It's important that you're comfortable working independently, as you'll often be the one responsible for determining the best course of action when faced with a maintenance issue. While the workload can be demanding at times, it's also highly rewarding, knowing that your work plays a major role in ensuring our guests have a great experience during their stay with us!WHAT MATTERS MOSTRequirements:Knowledge of craft trades (carpentry, painting, tile, wall vinyl, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool, etc)Knowledge and experience in physical plan maintenanceAbility to effectively communicate with guests, vendors, supervisors, and associatesAbility to lift 50+ pounds.Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, stoop, and reachHospitality-driven and friendlyFlexibility to work weekends as neededWe'd love it if you had previous hotel experience, but it's not a hard requirement.
