Hotel Maintenance Technician


La Quinta Inn & Suites – Pueblo, CO


La Quinta Pueblo is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment.


Responsibilities

• Complete basic hotel repairs and maintenance
  
  
• Handle plumbing, drywall, painting, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
  
  
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and guests
  
  
• Perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms
  
  
• Help with room renovations and improvement projects
  
  
• Keep tools and maintenance areas organized
  
  
• Report major repair needs to management
  
  

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
  
  
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, drywall, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
  
  
• Able to work independently and solve problems
  
  
• Reliable and dependable
  
  
• Hotel maintenance experience is a plus
  
  

Schedule


Full-time position.


Must be available for some weekends and occasional emergency maintenance needs.


Physical Requirements


Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., use ladders, and work with maintenance tools and equipment.
