Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. This role is responsible for the repair, upkeep, and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving problems quickly to ensure our guests have a safe and comfortable stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of guest rooms, common areas, and hotel equipment (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc.).

• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.

• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests with a positive, service-oriented attitude.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, codes, and regulations.

• Maintain accurate logs of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.

• Assist with setup and breakdown for meeting rooms

• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs.

• Uphold hotel standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in all maintenance work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred (hotel experience is a plus).

• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, standing for extended periods).

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies as needed.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
