Hotel Maintenance Technician (Pensacola Beach)

We are searching for a Hotel Maintenance Technician who is dependable,can work as part of a team, and is comfortable working on multiple projects at the same time, to work at hotel on Pensacola Beach, FL.The Maintenance Technicians responsibilities will include maintaining order of the property, completing tasks in a timely manner, and ensuring that all safety and structural standards are met throughout the completion of each project. Qualified candidates will have previous General Maintenance experience. Preference will be given to candidates with HVAC, Electrical, and/or Plumbing experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Promote a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving any conflict in a calm and poised manner.
• Follow through on all projects from start to completion.
• Evaluate and consider all costs associated with each project including materials, costs of labor, and time expended.
• Perform quality control checks on all systems and products.
• Patrol the interior as well as the external perimeter of the hotel to observe and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions.
• Coordinate expedient response to emergency conditions such as fire, safety hazards, and threats to life and/or property in a calm, rational and persuasive manner.
• Ensure time-based maintenance is completed according to timely repair schedules.
• Inspect equipment and conduct routine maintenance by removing/replacing old or faulty equipment.
• Provide technical support and training on all new equipment.
• Respond to guest complaints regarding all maintenance issues.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Project a professional manner at all times, with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management. 

PAY:The position will start at $16 - $18 an hour (depending on experience level)SCHEDULE:Full-time- DAY Shift 6:30am- 3pm - Days will vary - MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDSREQUIREMENTS:Must pass a pre-employment background checkANDhave RELIABLE transportation to Pensacola BeachTEL Staffing complies with regulations enforced by the EEOC.
