Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Hotel Manager. This role will oversee daily hotel operations, guest experience, team coordination, and performance management across one or multiple properties in a centralized or remote capacity.

The Hotel Manager will work closely with on-site staff, operations teams, customer service teams, and leadership to ensure smooth operations, strong guest satisfaction, and efficient property performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations remotely across assigned property or portfolio
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, reviews, and service quality metrics
  • Support and manage front desk, reservations, housekeeping, and operations teams
  • Coordinate with on-site staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Review occupancy rates, revenue performance, and operational reports
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning
  • Handle escalated guest concerns and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain operational standards, policies, and brand guidelines
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Track KPIs such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, and customer support teams
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and performance management of staff
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulations
  • Maintain clear communication with leadership and cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred
  • 3-6 years of experience in hotel management, hospitality operations, or guest services leadership
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, front desk, reservations, and guest experience
  • Experience managing teams or coordinating across departments
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze reports, metrics, and operational data
  • Experience with hotel management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar platforms preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and properties (if applicable)
  • Comfortable working remotely and coordinating with distributed teams
