Job Title: Night Auditor
Location: Fairfield Inn & Suites – York, Nebraska
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Shift: Overnight (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Position Summary
You own the overnight operation. You keep the property secure, balanced, and guest-ready for the next day. You handle front desk responsibilities, complete daily financial reporting, and set up the morning team for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out with accuracy and professionalism
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues independently overnight
- Complete nightly audit and balance all hotel revenue and transactions
- Reconcile cash, credit cards, and system reports
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure front desk and lobby area
- Conduct property walks to ensure safety and security standards
- Set up basic breakfast area (as needed) for morning service
- Communicate clear shift notes for the morning team
Requirements
- Prior hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail. Mistakes show up in the numbers
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable and consistent attendance. This shift cannot miss
- Ability to stay alert and productive overnight
- Proficient with computers and hotel systems
