Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented hospitality professional to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment throughout our hotel’s public areas. This role plays an important part in supporting an exceptional guest experience by ensuring shared spaces are kept tidy, sanitary, and well-presented throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other guest-facing spaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish surfaces as needed to keep facilities in excellent condition.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in designated areas.
- Restock restroom and public area supplies, such as soap, tissue, paper towels, and other amenities.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damages to the appropriate team members promptly.
- Respond to guest or team member requests for assistance in a courteous and professional manner.
- Follow established cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies properly and safely.
- Support special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping and operations teams to maintain a positive guest environment.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Professional demeanor and a guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality in a hospitality setting.
- Basic communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
