The restaurant located inside Cincinnati Downtown Hotel is looking to hire a Host/Hostess. For AM and PM. Full or part-time. Everyone is required to be able to work mostly weekend am or pm shifts. Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
This position is for the Hotel Food & Beverage Department.
Functions of our Host/Hostesses include:
Greets and seats guests presents menus to guests and informs them of special catches and soups.
Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests9 expectations.
Takes names on a waiting list.
Runs the floor plan board.
Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
Cleans, organizes, and stocks menus in the host area.
Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
Fills to-go orders, if applicable.
Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
Performs other duties as directed. food runner bussing table if needed helping server and room service delivery food.
