Sales Manager

PAH Management is a Dallas-based hotel ownership and management company operating 11 select-service properties across five states under the Marriott, Hilton, and other brand portfolios. We own and operate our assets — which means our Sales Managers have real authority, direct access to leadership, and the ability to make a genuine impact on their property's bottom line. We are dedicated to developing a culture that places associates first while becoming America's preferred hotel management company.

The Sales Manager at Towne Place Suites Metairie is the revenue driver for the property — responsible for building and maintaining the account base, generating new business across all segments, and partnering with the General Manager to maximize occupancy and RevPAR. Metairie, Louisiana is a dynamic and growing market with strong corporate, leisure, and extended-stay demand. This is a role for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, relationship-building, and closing — and who understands that great hospitality and great sales go hand in hand.

Sales & Business Development
  • Proactively solicit new business across all market segments — corporate transient, group, government, and extended stay — through direct sales calls, cold outreach, networking, and community involvement.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts while consistently developing new leads to build a strong and diversified revenue pipeline.
  • Conduct on-site tours and property presentations for prospective clients; convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Participate in sales blitzes, trade shows, chamber events, and local business organizations to build visibility and market share.
  • Respond promptly to all sales inquiries, RFPs, and group leads; prepare proposals and negotiate contracts within approved rate parameters.
Revenue & Strategy
  • Partner with the General Manager to develop the annual sales plan, set segment goals, and execute quarterly action plans aligned with property revenue targets.
  • Monitor local market trends, competitive set performance, and demand generators; adjust strategy proactively to capture opportunities.
  • Maintain working knowledge of revenue management principles and collaborate with the GM on pricing decisions that maximize RevPAR.
  • Track and report on production by account and segment; present weekly sales activity updates to the General Manager.
Account Management & Guest Relations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts; conduct regular check-ins and site visits to strengthen relationships and retain business.
  • Coordinate with the front desk and operations teams to ensure group and corporate accounts receive seamless, brand-consistent service.
  • Resolve account concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Maintain accurate and current account records in the property management and CRM systems.
Brand & Compliance
  • Execute sales efforts in alignment with Hilton brand standards and PAH Management guidelines.
  • Complete all required Hilton brand training and maintain certification as required.
What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a select-service or extended-stay environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with property management systems and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends as business demands.
  • Valid driver's license required; local travel for sales calls expected.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hilton brand experience (OnQ, Delphi, or Hilton sales systems) strongly preferred.
  • Established relationships in the Jonesboro/Arkansas corporate market a significant plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience selling in the corporate transient, government, or extended-stay segments.
Skills & Attributes
  • Self-starter with a hunter mentality — you don't wait for business to come to you.
  • Relationship-driven — you build trust quickly and maintain it over time.
  • Analytically minded — you use data to make decisions and adjust your approach.
  • Collaborative — you work closely with the GM and operations team, not in a silo.
  • Guest-first — you understand that sold business is only valuable if the guest comes back.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
  • Term Life and AD&D Insurance
  • Voluntary Life Insurance (self, spouse, and child)
  • Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • Employee Incentive Program
  • Hotel Stay Perks through Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt brand programs
  • Educational Reimbursement
  • Manager in Training Program
