Adult Education Plumbing Trades Instructor

Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology Adult Education

Position Summary

Burlington County Institute of Technology Adult Education is seeking a qualified Plumbing Trades Instructor to join our team on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair practices. The instructor must be able to effectively work with adult students within classroom and laboratory settings, sharing technical expertise, blueprint reading, and code enforcement. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 510 years of experience in commercial and/or residential plumbing trades.
• Demonstrated expertise in system layouts, blueprint reading, drainage systems, water supply infrastructure, and working knowledge of the National Standard Plumbing Code (NSPC).
• Ability to work effectively with adult learners.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to share industry knowledge and best practices.

Salary & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $40.30

• Must pass a criminal history background check.

• Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire.
