JOB TITLE:

Dishwasher - Retail Dining

JOB PURPOSE:

Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dish room areas of the dining locations in the Union.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keep up with dish washing demands at Panda Express and Chick-fil-A
• Maintain health codes and food safety in prep kitchen and dish room.
• Help with orders of cleaning supplies.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist in wiping down walls, cleaning floors, cleaning tables, trash, changing soda bibs and keeping kitchen equipment clean. General kitchen cleaning.

COMPETENCIES:

• Attention to detail and timeliness.
• Works well with a team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Dish washing experience.
• Trainable position.
• The ability to stand for an extended period without accommodations.
• Lifting 25 lbs. or more periodically without accommodations.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior dish washing experience in an industrial kitchen.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment.

WORK LOCATION:

On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
