House Man - Public Area Cleaning

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall comfort of our public spaces. This role is essential to creating a welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and team members, and requires a strong commitment to quality, consistency, and service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, meeting spaces, and other shared spaces.
• Remove trash, replace liners, and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
• Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish surfaces as needed.
• Restock supplies in public restrooms and other shared areas.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or needed repairs promptly.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Respond to guest or team member requests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Support special cleaning projects and seasonal deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or public area cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning tools, equipment, and products.
• Good communication skills and a professional, service-minded attitude.

Additional Information

This position may require flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on business needs. Approximately 90% of shifts are expected to start at 9:00 AM. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
