About Our Family

We're a warm, active family of five with two parents and three school-aged children, ages 6, 7, and 9, along with our three beloved dogs. Our days are full and lively, with school, sports, church, extracurriculars, and family commitments keeping everyone on the go.

One parent travels approximately 50% of the time, so having dependable support at home is especially important. While we have established routines and weekly cleaning support in place, we're looking for someone who can take ownership of the many moving pieces that come with raising three young children and help keep everything running smoothly, whether we're all home or one parent is traveling.

What we're looking for now is someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day logistics that keep our household running smoothly. The ideal person will have a true bird's-eye view of the home — overseeing the family calendar, school events, activities, appointments, and transportation while anticipating what's coming next and making sure the details are handled. With our three children often involved in different activities and needing to be in different places, this person will help coordinate after-school transportation and carpools, prepare the kids for what's ahead, keep household essentials stocked, and proactively take care of the small things that can easily get missed in a busy week.

Ultimately, we're looking for someone who can become a trusted extension of our family. Someone who is warm, dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership. The goal isn't simply to check things off a list, but to help create a calm, organized household where we can spend less time managing logistics and more time being present with our children.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and genuinely enjoys being the person who brings steadiness to a busy day. You're confident, resourceful, and comfortable stepping into whatever the day may require. You don't need everything to go according to plan to be effective—in fact, you're at your best when you can problem-solve, adjust, and keep things moving with a positive attitude.

You're naturally flexible and understand that family schedules can shift quickly. A last-minute change, an activity running late, a schedule adjustment, or an unexpected need doesn't throw you off. You're able to pivot without frustration, reprioritize when needed, and communicate changes clearly so everyone stays on the same page. You understand that flexibility is an important part of supporting an active family.

You bring maturity, sound judgment, and a can-do attitude to your work. You're comfortable working independently and trust yourself to make thoughtful decisions within the scope of your role. At the same time, you know when something needs to be communicated or brought to the parents' attention.

You genuinely enjoy supporting children and animals and are comfortable moving between household responsibilities and family support throughout the day. Whether you're coordinating an activity carpool, helping the kids get ready for what's coming next, keeping household tasks on track, or noticing that something needs attention before anyone asks, you take pride in being the person the family can count on.

Most importantly, you're looking for a position where you can build trust over time. You take pride in being reliable, bringing a positive energy to the home, and becoming someone the family knows they can truly count on—even when the day doesn't go exactly as planned.
