    A hospital in Montrose is seeking an experienced House Supervisor to provide leadership and operational oversight during overnight hours. This role is ideal for a seasoned healthcare professional who excels in clinical leadership, problem-solving, and coordinating patient care across multiple departments.

    Position Overview

    The House Supervisor serves as the primary administrative and clinical resource for the hospital during the night shift. This position oversees nursing operations, supports staff across departments, facilitates patient flow, and responds to urgent clinical and operational situations. The House Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring smooth hospital operations when senior leadership is not on-site.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and support to nursing and clinical staff throughout the facility.
    • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and overall patient flow.
    • Respond to clinical emergencies and operational issues as they arise.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital operations during overnight hours.
    • Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to address patient care needs.
    • Promote compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
    • Assist with staffing coordination and resource allocation to meet patient care demands.
    • Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts.
    • Maintain accurate documentation related to operational and clinical activities.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
    • Active healthcare licensure appropriate to the position.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
    • Experience coordinating care across multiple departments preferred.
