What Youll Do:
Oversee day-to-day nursing operations during your scheduled shift in a critical access hospital setting
Provide clinical support primarily for the Emergency Department and Med/Surg units
Coordinate patient care delivery, staffing, and resource allocation
Support and mentor nursing staff, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Act as a liaison among medical teams, patients, and families
Ensure safe, quality care aligned with hospital and regulatory standards
What You Need:
Active Registered Nurse license (pending license accepted)
Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Strong clinical skills in Emergency Department, Med/Surg, or similar areas
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

River Falls Area Hospital is a small, community-focused critical access hospital that is Level 4 trauma certified and designated as an acute Stroke Ready Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead in a close-knit environment while providing top-tier patient care. The ICU ANS role primarily supports the Emergency Department and Medical/Surgical units, offering clinical backup and operational oversight during night shifts.
