We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsYou will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through direction and supervision of all house-wide functions during a designated shift, and participate as an active member of the nursing management team and assumes authority to manage all activities and personnel in conjunction with and in the absence of hospital administrationYou will assigns nursing staff to specific clinical areas within the hospital to meet patient care needs and adjust staffing by reassigning staff, assigning PRN and agency personnel, and coordinating overtimeYou will serve as authority in the absence of other members of the nursing management/administrative team and manage admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered careYou will function as a resource person for staff members and provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagementWhat qualifications you will need:Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma requiredBachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred5+ years experience in clinical practice requiredCurrent license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulationBLS Certification required within 30 days of startACLS Certification preferredLos Robles Regional Medical Center is a 380+ bed acute care hospital dedicated to serving the residents of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties along with the Greater Conejo Valley.
