About Our Family

We're a busy family of four living in a vibrant, walkable neighborhood. Between school, activities, meals, running two small businesses, and managing a household — we're looking for someone who can bring calm, capable support and help simplify the day-to-day. Our schedule can shift, and we need consistent help to keep things running smoothly.

One parent travels extensively for work and may be away for extended periods at a time. The second parent operates a locally based non-profit that requires irregular hours. Having reliable support on the home front is especially valuable. Nearby family are actively involved in our lives and help bring a sense of community to our home. To  navigate work, travel, and raising children, we hope to partner with someone who can help create consistency, ease, and support within our home.

We're looking for someone who brings a steady presence, takes initiative, and genuinely enjoys helping a household function smoothly. Our schedule can shift from week to week, so flexibility and adaptability are important, along with the ability to anticipate needs and keep things moving without requiring constant direction.

Patience, warmth, and intelligence matter deeply to us. We appreciate someone who understands children while naturally creating a sense of safety and stability. Being attentive to household routines, details, and food-related safety is an important part of supporting our family well.

Above all, we're hoping to find a discrete, trustworthy, and professional person who takes pride in creating order behind the scenes so we can spend more time being present with our family.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You naturally fit into our family dynamic as a trusted partner while remaining proactive, dependable, and professional. You understand that supporting a family is about more than completing tasks—it's about creating ease and helping the household run smoothly. You follow through on commitments, communicate openly, and take pride in being someone a family can truly rely on.

You're patient, warm, and genuinely enjoy being around children. You understand that every child is different and know how to meet them with empathy, flexibility, and respect while maintaining appropriate boundaries and consistency. You bring a calm, steady presence that helps children feel supported and helps parents feel at ease.

You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving pieces at once. You enjoy creating order, anticipating needs, and handling responsibilities independently without needing constant direction. Whether coordinating schedules, managing errands, supporting household operations, or preparing for the week ahead, you have a natural ability to see what needs doing and make it happen.

You're comfortable navigating city life and understand how to move through neighborhoods efficiently and safely while coordinating school pickups, activities, appointments, and errands. Most importantly, you're trustworthy, discreet, and professional. You bring positive energy, strong instincts, and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families you support.
