Housekeeper-2nd shift-(Mon-Fri 2p-10p)

Position Description:

The Housekeeper handles the general housekeeping duties at 80/20. They are the primary cleaner for all offices, work spaces, restrooms, and other areas assigned to them by the Facilities Supervisor. Their responsibility is to create a clean and sanitary space for all 80/20 Inc. employees on a daily basis. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and other general housekeeping duties in the office areas, breakroom, restrooms, and in the plant floor.
• Responsible for emptying all trash containers plant-wide.
• Sweeping and mopping aisles.
• Washing windows.
• All other assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Has an 80/20 culture mindset in all they do.
• Detail-oriented and precise with cleaning smaller to larger areas.
• Is a self-starter who needs little direction with daily cleaning tasks.
• Able to stand, twist, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, and lift 40 lbs. on a continuous basis for an 8-hour work day.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of experience of housekeeping responsibilities in a professional or personal environment
• Knowledge of appropriate cleaning agents and their usage
• Knowledge of best cleaning practices that promote effective time management
