Housekeeper

THRYVE of Burbank is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility while helping ensure a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for our residents, families, and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform other routine cleaning duties
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces and frequently used areas
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly in accordance with facility procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lounges, dining areas, and other common spaces
• Follow proper infection control and sanitation procedures
• Safely operate and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies
• Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns to the appropriate department
• Maintain adequate supplies and notify leadership when supplies need to be replenished
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable health and safety regulations
• Assist with deep cleaning and special cleaning projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred
• Healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus
• Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection control procedures preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to interact respectfully and courteously with residents, families, and staff
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift as required to perform housekeeping duties
