Hospital Housekeeper – $17/hr

Location: Charlottesville, VA

We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our team in a hospital environment. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and medical staff.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, hallways, ER areas, and other hospital spaces
• Dispose of trash and medical waste according to hospital safety procedures
• Clean and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas
• Follow all hospital safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Support the overall cleanliness and safety of the hospital environment

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and dependable
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hospital cleaning experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to pass a background check

Schedule & Pay

Monday–Friday
7:00 AM–3:30 PM
$17.00/hour

⚠️ Weekend Rotation: This position will also require working rotating weekends as part of the regular schedule.
