About the Role:

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and a welcoming environment within the organization’s facilities. This position ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the overall comfort and safety of employees and visitors. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including floor care, dusting, and waste disposal, while adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential to successfully fulfill this role. Ultimately, the Housekeeper supports the company’s operational excellence by creating a clean and organized workplace that reflects the company’s commitment to quality and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, and write in English to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including reaching overhead and working on floors.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Basic mathematical skills to perform measurements and manage cleaning supplies.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in cleaning techniques, safety procedures, or use of cleaning equipment.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, or polishers.
• Knowledge of environmentally friendly cleaning products and sustainable cleaning practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Previous experience working in a corporate or enterprise management environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces in offices, hallways, restrooms, and other designated areas.
• Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
• Maintain floor care by using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions to ensure floors are clean, safe, and free of hazards.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling duties in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Reach overhead and other difficult-to-access areas to clean vents, light fixtures, and other surfaces as needed.
• Use basic mathematical computations to measure cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Communicate effectively in English to report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to supervisors.
